Flix Interactive Unannounced Project

During 2024 I spent 4 months working for Flix Interactive on a currently unannounced game, unfortunately due to a lack of funding I was unable to continue my employment with Flix.


My Role

Due to the nature of working on an unannounced project I can’t really speak too much on the project itself, however I can talk a little bit about the role I had on the project.

During my short time at Flix I was as part of a small internal test team that was focused on helping create and ensuring the quality for a short vertical slice demo to be used to showcase the project.

While working on the project, some of my tasks involved:

  • Attending daily test stand up meetings.

  • Working towards internal deadlines

  • Working daily with the test team to ensure testing standards were met.

  • Taking responsibility for a specific section of the project and ensuring that new changes were tested correctly and to the highest standard possible.

  • Working daily with internal development partners outside of just test (i.e Designers, Engineers etc).

  • Ensuring that known issues are logged with the correct severity and the correct teams are notified if necessary (e.g. build blocking issues).

  • Reviewing and working with feedback and issues raised from the relevant stakeholders.

  • Creating test sheets/documentation to track the state of the project that can easily be understood by the relevant stakeholders

  • Performing investigations into current systems to highlight any issues they might have that need to be solved going forward and presenting this data to the relevant stakeholders.
